Without the support of the Brophy Community Foundation, I wouldn’t be the ambitious, vocal and community-driven person I am today. BCF didn’t just give me the opportunity to attend Brophy—it gave me access to mentors who recognized my potential and pushed me to grow. Through their guidance, I developed the confidence to pursue competitive opportunities, including the ASU SCENE High School internship program. That experience has not only expanded my knowledge, but has also shaped my vision for the future, reinforcing my commitment to making a meaningful impact in my community.

Since coming to Brophy, my life has completetly changed in more ways than I can count. When first entering, I was a quiet and felt unmotivated to do much at brophy. But I quickly met amazing people at Brophy and began to shape my life into the way I knew it was ment to be. I began to get involved heavily into fitness, and I began to take trips all across the globe which changed my perspectives forever. So therefore, I am enternally grateful to all doners who have contributrd twards my education and of the many others acorss brophy.

If it weren’t for the Brophy Community Foundation and its generous tax donors, I wouldn’t have had the incredible opportunities I’ve experienced at Brophy. From volunteering at service organizations to serving underprivileged communities and learning to take initiative, BCF has shaped the person I am today. One of my proudest accomplishments is my work with Soles2Souls, a nonprofit that provides shoes to those in need. Without the chance to attend Brophy, I never would have been part of such a meaningful cause.

Because of donor’s support in redirecting their tax credits to the Brophy Community Foundation, I have become more human. BCF has allowed to open up even more to some people I would call friends now as well. Without BCF, I would not be the person I am today, I would still be lost and hurt and unable to find myself. However, because of being able to come to Brophy through Financial Aid, I am able to look back and be proud of how far I’ve come.

Thanks to the generous financial support of the BCF donors, I am the man I am today. My journey begins nearly six years ago, when I was accepted into Loyola Academy. I didn’t know who was funding it, but I knew to be grateful for such an opportunity. This taught me what it meant to be a man for others, as well as the importance of academics and leadership. Today, I am a Robotics team leader and on the advisory board of the Brophy First Gen group. These generous contributions have instilled a need in me to give back to Brophy and my community.

Before Brophy, I was extremely unsocial and didn’t like connecting to people. Spending nearly three years at Brophy, however, has helped me realize how important personal connections are and how Brophy has helped me. At Brophy, I’ve met people who have changed my perspective on who I am and what I mean to the people around me. Without the donors of BCF, I never would have met the countless people and had the opportunity that have made me a man for and with others.

I wouldn’t be the man I am today without Brophy. The friends I’ve made, the activities I’ve partaken in, the organizations I’ve been a member of—all these facets of life as a Bronco have allowed me to develop my character and grow academically and mentally. None of it would have been possible without the generosity of the Brophy Community Foundation. Every dollar put towards my education by these donors has made all the difference, and I am beyond grateful for the plethora of new opportunities and experiences that have been made available to me.

Because of donors’ support in redirecting their tax credits to the Brophy Community Foundation, I have discovered my true self and who I am here at Brophy. Brophy’s many opportunities have allowed me to step into a new realm of different possibilities that I didn’t even know was possible. As well as, Brophy has allowed me to be at peace with myself and discover many talents that I didn’t realize I had. All in all, without donors’ support, I wouldn’t be where I am and who I am today.

Brophy Community Foundation has shaped me into the person I am today. It has helped me get out of my comfort zone and reach out to others for a good cause, to help others who are in my shoes. It shaped me into someone who wants to help others because others have helped me. Now I feel the need to help others and to invest in our future.
