As we kick off another school year, there's an energy at Brophy Community Foundation—and yesterday's BCF Intern Retreat at Faber's Stable perfectly captured that spirit. We've welcomed a dynamic new group of interns, including returning seniors ready to take on leadership roles.

They're excited about the opportunities ahead—giving presentations to community groups, visiting BCF-supported schools, and learning the behind-the-scenes work of running a nonprofit. They'll dive into Google Ads, marketing strategies, and how to talk about themselves with confidence and authenticity.

One highlight was dinner with past BCF interns, when current interns heard how their internship experience shaped college applications, career choices, and ongoing commitment to educational equity. Our interns aren't just gaining work experience; they're joining a network of advocates for educational access.

As recipients of tuition aid from Brophy Community Foundation donors, their genuine voices make them powerful advocates. When they share their stories or represent BCF, they're not merely promoting our organization—they're embodying our mission.
