I intend to make the most of what God has given me, and someday I'll create just as much opportunity for others.

Throughout our journey in life, there are moments when two paths cross and create an incredible impact on our lives. In the book “The Alchemist,” Paulo Coelho explains the importance of these moments and describes them as ‘Divine Connections.’ These divine connections are moments that guide us on the right path and, in the end, create a beautiful constellation. So far in my life, I’ve been blessed with numerous divine connections, with the Brophy Community Foundation being one of them.
I am a product of generational hard work, good choices, and dedication. I have two loving parents who both sacrificed in various ways, such as immigrating to this country and working 12 hours a day, seven days a week, all in hopes that their children can have an education and a better opportunity in life than theirs.
I’ve been blessed with mentors and communities such as Brophy College Preparatory, who have helped me achieve greater heights in my education, disciplined me when I needed direction, and demonstrated they genuinely care for me. My journey has been filled with opportunities and blessings that have shaped who I am today.
I’ve been described as someone who is down to earth but shoots for the stars. I strive to succeed in every opportunity presented to me, but I work hard and stay humble because I know that those who came before me and programs like the Brophy Communtiy Foundation have allowed me to make it this far. I intend to make the most of what God has given me, and someday I’ll create just as much opportunity for others.
